Looking for something a bit cooler ... not possible I hear you all say.. An Amazonas Tarp Hat with extreme patches is the tops...Well now we have a little twist on our Canvas Tarp Hat, all the style and ruggedness of our original hat but now with vented sides..... all made from recycled burlap sacking/jute which when hand sewn by our craftsman end up with a Tarp Hat that is truly wonderful.
The tarphats vented side fabric is recycled from old sacks used for carrying dried rice and black eyed beans to the markets in Brazil, once we have sourced the material it is prepared into a soft but ridged material which blends fantastically with our standard tarp material.
We are all unique so why not reflect this in our clothing rather than wearing the same old things offered in the high street stores.

Great hat and great quality have worn it solidly whilst we were on holiday for 2 weeks. Even with the side vents it was a little warm in the heat. It was great at keeping the rain off as we walked up to Stone henge.

The tarp hat is very comfortable a great fit and the vented hat really does make a difference in hot weather. I already owned a non-vented tarp hat which I think is great but the vented tarp hat lets the heat escape very effectively. The returns process is very efficient with no quibbles and a speedy service. Very happy.

Original one was a bit faulty but was returned and replaced without a problem at all - i found it a tad big but next one down would of been very tight so i had a hat band for it and its now great - in my case as i type for its new life in Lanzarote
