Works perfectly. To ensure that my hat is stretched to the right size I measured the gap.
The 4 way hat stretcher is a brilliant piece of kit. Its well made and does the job perfectly.. My fur hat had dropped by 1 cm and was out of shape at the crown with the 4 way stretcher I was able to steam and reshape the whole hat because it was all held in place very tightly which made the reshape much easier. A brilliant well made addition to any hat wearers collection. Works great on leather hats too.

After buying a new leather hat which came up a bit small I bought a Tarp Hat Hat Stretcher not really knowing if it would work. I neednt have worried after only a few days of using the Hat Stretcher my new hat is the perfect fit Its kept its form and shape only its now slightly larger Such a simple device good solid construction and well made and it works perfectly Can highly recommend

Stretched my hat. Quick delivery. Job well done.
Needed this to stretch an Akubra hat which had become a bit tight over time. Does that well. I think I could have gone for the larger size but thats just a personal view. Useful item if your hat is a tad tight.

Great item. I have used it on two hats that I have not been able to wear for years due to shrinkage a felt hat and a waxed Barbour. Well worth the cost.
