De Amazonas Tarphat met brede rand en Extreme Patch is gemaakt van gerecyclede zeilen van open vrachtwagens die van het noordwesten van de Amazone tot het zuiden van Brazilië over duizenden mijlen onverharde, roodheidige wegen rijden, waar regen, zon en stof het materiaal op een manier doen verouderen die geen enkele fabriek ooit zou kunnen nabootsen. Daarna wordt het materiaal gewassen en voorbereid om te worden omgevormd tot "waarschijnlijk" de beste originele Braziliaanse zeilhoeden die er te krijgen zijn. Alle hoeden hebben dus meer weerzien dan de meeste van ons in een mensenleven zullen meemaken, hebben geen onderhoud nodig en zijn klaar voor hun volgende taak: je beschermen tegen de elementen en er tegelijkertijd behoorlijk cool uitzien.
Alle hoeden zijn uniek en geen twee zijn hetzelfde. Sommige hebben reparatieplekken, andere hebben stempels of opschriften. Dit draagt allemaal bij aan hun charme en ze zijn net zo uniek als ieder van ons... hier geen massaproductie, alleen maar individuele stijl! Bij Amazonas Tarp Hat heb je de keuze en kun je het type hoed kiezen dat je wilt. Maak je keuze uit de Extreme Patch Tarphat, die volop plekken heeft, de Original Tarphat, die er één of twee kan hebben, of de zeer zeldzame Tarphat met Portugese markeringen. Alle types zijn verkrijgbaar in 7 geweldige maten!

Hat is as described a unique hand crafted item just what I wanted. Sizing spot on. My wife was sceptical but she loves it. Fast dispatch and delivery. This is a for life hat. Highly recommended.

Great hat. First hat was too big my fault as I didnt measure my head accurately. But great customer service and communication soon sorted this and the second one fits perfectly. Its light to wear and I like the wide brim which has wire inserted around the edge to hold the shape. Plus its a bit different from the norm which I like. I went for the extreme patch version but dont worry the patches are really extreme.
This is my third hat being a different style to my others. Another great unique hat which fits great and looks amazing. They always get a nice comment whenever I wear one especially the traditional wide brimmed style. Would definitely recommend.
These hats are fabulous. Saw my son in law wearing one for work hes a gardener ordered 2one for his birthday another for hubbys anniversary.Theyre all unique came in a well packed flat box good wide brim.Delivered quickly will recommend.

Having bought a Tarphat before I knew exactly waht I wanted. But the choice is great. The availability was great. And the swiftness of service is excellent I really would recommend these hats.
Hats are great. So good my wife stole my first so I had to buy a second My only minor comment is Id have been tempted by the unique print version but I didnt want to risk the pot luck. Id have paid a small premium to have the option to view stock and choose.
Ordered two hats one for me and one for my son. Theyre both really great. Fit is perfect and quality and ethos is excellent. Would definitely order again.

Testing my Tarphat out in the Gran Canarian sun and its passed with flying colours - itll be getting a workout at a festival also in the UK at the end of August so will be able to check its waterproof qualities too Treated it with the recommended waterproofing so should all be good.Totally happy and would recommend without any doubts

I have always had problems getting hats that fit me as I have a large head. I was surprised at how big these hats were and how comfortable they are. I have just bought another one as I lost my previous one and when I ordered I saw that they even went up to XXXXL. They are great hats and are a talking point due to their construction.
Great lightweight broad-brimmed hat. Ideal for the upcoming spring and summer days in the garden. The hat with its added patches has a lot of personality especially with the coconut bead headband. Very pleased with the purchase.

Ordered a original tarp hat for myself and then my son decided he needed one too but wanted the extreme patches version. Same excellent quality and speedy delivery. It looks like Ill be adding a 3rd soon as my daughter is now asking for one of her own.

Bought for surveying out in the hot weather but Ive ended up using it nearly any time its really sunny out. Amazing quality keeps the sun off without making your head bake in the sun Could not recommend more
