These hat size reducers are just the job if you have a hat that is just a little on the the larger size, they come as a pair so just one or two can be fitted thus reducing the hat size between one to 1- 1 1/2 sizes smaller.
They are made from a foam core with super strong adhesive on one side keeping the reducer firmly in place between the inner hatband and canvas ( see our fitting instruction guide which comes with the reducers)
These are a great option if you are buying for a child as they can grow into the hat as they get older.

Absolutely designed for the job.I tried some hat sizers I bought on a leading retail website but they didnt work. They were too thick and so dug into my head and still didnt keep my Tarphat on.These ones made by Tarphat work perfectly. Where my hat was blowing off in the slightest breeze before now it fits firmly but comfortably and stays on in relatively windy conditions.Thank you

Used it on a felt Akubra that was given to me. Needed four strips which means get a smaller hat. Only issue is it only sticks once as adhesive looses any tackiness after first application so make sure it in the right place. Working well on the hat.

I was ordering two packs via Etsy but doing so required I pay 2 lots of 1.50 delivery charge. I spoke to Tarphat direct who confirmed this to be erroneous and accepted and processed my order over the phone. Top class courteous service. The item itself did the job beautifully and I like the material it is made of. In truth I only needed one out of one pack - my bad but I have spares for any needed adjustment to hats I will acquire. In short if you need a hat re-sizer think Tarphat.
