These Original Amazonas Real Brazilian Tarp Baseball caps are full of Character , not like the run of the mill caps you will see in all the stores on the high street, we are all individual so why not reflect that in our clothing ?
These caps and accessories have been made in Brazil by friends of ours, They live in Amazonas on the edge of the rainforest and their family wear these tarp hats day in day out, they are made from recycled tarpaulins from open cargo trucks that run from Amazonas North west to the south of Brazil along thousands of miles of unmade red dust laden tracks with rain, sun & dust aging the material in a way that no factory could ever replicate. After which the material is washed and prepared ready to be made into "probably" the best original Brazilian tarp hats around.
So all of the hats have seen more weather than most of us might see in a lifetime and do not need any looking after and are ready for their next job of keeping the elements off of you whilst looking rather cool at the same time. They are fantastic hats for the garden,trekking,walking on the boat,work you think of an activity and they will make you look and feel cool.
They are waterproof,sunproof,sandproof,in fact do not worry about these hats they will look after themselves and you. All of the hats are individual with no two being the same, some will have repair patches on others will have stamps or writing on , this all adds to their charm and they are as individual as all of us…no mass production here , just individual style!. Don‘t forget to add a "SPRINGY" to your order if you use your hat whilst running,riding,boating,skiing, this nifty little addition will make sure you and your hat do not get separated, it just clips on the back of your cap and then when needed just clip on end to your jacket or shirt collar and your hat is secure !

Good hat
This is my second Tarphat. Ive owned a wide brimmed Original for over ten years. Wanted a baseball cap to replace one I lost. I got my size wrong and Ana replaced with the correct size no problem at all. These hats are extremely well made and will last a lifetime. Love both of mine
No complaints at all. Very happy with my new hat - great quality. Feels like its going to last. And looks great. Quick delivery well packaged. Overall a great experience.
Really enjoy my Tarp Hats - one slight observation regarding the metal stud fastener on top of the baseball cap - being a gentleman of limited thatch on top Ive managed to knock my head whilst wearing my hat and skin my head with the metal stud on two occasions. Perhaps include an Elastoplast for future accidents

First Class customer service. Originally ordered the medium and realised it was too big. Emailed Tarphat because Id had the cap for a couple of weeks before realising it was too big. Prompt reply asking me to submit a return. Submitted a return and received the correct size in less than a week. Very pleased with replacement-will be buying from again

I bought the same hat maybe just under 10 years ago its been on many hikes worn in the sea multiple times even been lightly chewed by the dog and it admirably protected my bonce from sun and midges. Its been very robust and looked great but was becoming tired dog helped with that so Ive just replaced it with a new one expect this one to last just as long.

I was looking for a new baseball cap came upon this Web site I put my order in and very surprised how well it was made for the price. Will definitely buy from them again.
Every 2-3 years I buy my Dad one of your wonderful baseball caps he loves them wears them all year long at least once a day. Only improvement I can think of is if you could sell scarp material or patches so we can fix up holes in the hats to give the hats extra love.

Ive had an original wide brim hat which is just excellent for several years and now I have the baseball hat too.It is very well made fits perfectly very comfortable and surprisingly waterproof I know the description says its waterproof but Ive fallen for that before from other manufacturers.I wouldnt hesitate to recommend these hats to anyone.

Very pleased with the tarphat cap. Perfect fit but also a really nice rugged hard wearing feel about it. It really does give the feeling that this is a hat that will accompany you on many adventures.
Whats not to love The sizes available mean it fits me very well when not many other baseball caps do. And its a great unique hat.

More than happy with my tarphat baseball cap I wear it for every day outdoor activities no matter the weather I feel comfortable and dry .. its so good Ive recommended to friends and Im going to get the wide rim next for my fossil hunting days out and look like the professional archaeologist with a hat I fee confident that can withstand the battering from the coastal weather and sea amazing

A great looking hat just what I wanted. I find it very hard to get hats as I have a 2XL size head but this is a perfect fit.
I love my cap. Not only is it the first one to fit me properly snd comfortably but also proud to wear the backstory of it. Someone pointed out the marks on it and after i explained they were very impressed.
Fits my big head perfectly - the sizing guide was spot on. Excellent quality and I love the uniqueness of the cap. Overall love the cap and will be buying another soon.For me the one thing that you could improve on is perhaps providing a few options. For example the image of the cap on the website is two-tone but the one I received is just one colour. If given the choice Id have gone for a two-tone cap.
Bought myself another tarp cap as Ive demoted my 1st one to gardening duties. Brilliant quality hats that are more than up to any challenge.
